We call Joe the “BassMaster.”  The only thing more amazing than Joe playing the bass is watching him

stuff that big thing in his little sports car!

Joe Miller

Joe Miller is an engineer by day and a musiholic by night.  You might catch him playing bass with the Big Band, with his Jazz Ensemble, with Tim Garcia, Strings Attached or with anyone else who asks him.  He is truly a “student” of music and loves to learn as much as he can (and loves to play as much as he can!)  Joe, like Tom, has dabbled in recording and once owned his owned studio.  Today he tries to balance his family, a full-time job, and his many music committments.  This guy seems to have an endless resource of energy!

Diane Richardson

Diane is long time educator but still a student when it comes to playing music.  She’s played in bands at various times in her life and has had her own group called Girls with Guitars.   She currently plays with Strings Attached and a country/bluegrass band called Dixie Creek as well as the folk based duo Treasure House.Writing and recording music are areas of interest she looks forward to expending more energy on.  She is thrilled to be playing with great musicians (and human beings!) like Joe and Tom.

Tom Knecht

Tom Knecht is a very talented musician.  He writes, he sings, and he plays guitar like you wouldn’t believe!  He is a kind and gentle soul with a knack for phrases and witty quips. Even though Tom has moved to Colorado he often comes to St. Louis and joins us for gigs which we love!  Tom has set up his studio in his new home and welcomes the opportunity to work with musicians of all walks of life.

Our dear friend, Tom Knecht is an original member of Strings Attached.  Tom has moved to Colorado but is occasionally in to join Strings Attached for gigs.  He can be persuaded to make the trip for special occasions!
